Lavender

Today the whole day was wearing a lavender touch. 

First, I made new Lavender Scrub.


Second, I bought lavender blue hyacinths.


Third, I crocheted lavender blue pot holders. 


Fourth, I got this lovely hook from a friend. Perfect for the potholders.

      I just searched for 'crochet waffle pattern' on Google and then decided on how many rows. Didn't really use a pattern.

  In the last months I saw him on social media regularly: the Plague Doctor, often accompanied by the words 'Wash Your Hands'. Crochet Fly Curtain

Last week I saw this nice book, called Haken & Kleur (meaning Crochet & Color in Dutch; here's the blog of one of the authors with a link to where you can buy the book), full of crochet patterns. I bought it and after just a little bit of paging my choice fell on the Fly Curtain. I só need a fly curtain. When I do not close my door my house is invaded by flies, mosquitoes, bees and wasps.  I started to crochet, but when the weather got better and better the amount of bugs in my house increased faster and faster, so I had to speed up my crocheting. Crochet Bag

After making this little lunch bag for me, my oldest daughter wanted a bag of her own of course.
