Doily

Image
To make our under-construction-kitchen look more like a place one would actually like to be, I bought some nice pink flowers, but just a little vase of flowers on a large table looks a bit forsaken. So I'm trying out different things to cheer the pot up and make it look less lonesome. For example I made a doily for underneath. www.betweennapsontheporch.net But it just isn't enough, is it? So, what more?

Lavender

Image
Today the whole day was wearing a lavender touch.  First, I made new Lavender Scrub. Second, I bought lavender blue hyacinths. Third, I crocheted lavender blue pot holders.  Fourth, I got this lovely hook from a friend. Perfect for the potholders.  www.betweennapsontheporch.net

Rainbow Shawl

Image
Like all girls my daughter loves rainbow colors the most (after pink, of course), so when I saw this funny pattern here , I didn't have to meditate very long on what colors to use for this shawl. I made a little variation on the pattern, as you can see.  It's a short shawl, but it's just for neck decoration, not to keep the cold away. www.betweennapsontheporch.net ~*~ My Felt Letters were featured by Emily from Nap Time Creations ! Great!! Thanks, Emily!
