Knitted Blanket
Just to do something else than crochet, I knitted this blanket:

Fits nicely in with my other blankets (one of them still isn't finished, as the observant reader of this blog already saw, of course).
The Ladder is made (by me) from elderberry branches, especially for the blankets, so I can hang them up as a sort of decoration during summer. In the winter they lay around on the couch, to creep under when it's cold.

Thanks! Knitting is even easier than crochet, haha! I love your beautiful blanket, too!
DeleteReally? I'm going to have to learn to knit soon then! :-) It does seems like crocheting takes FOREVER! And thanks, I need to get to work on that blanket NOW! lol I'm never going to finish it... Oh, and thanks for linking up at Submarine Sunday!! :-)
DeleteIf you need it very quickly , you could combine ready made pieces [scraps] from old clothes with crochet and have a warm and original blanket

ReplyDeleteNice Display! Heb je de takken geschuurd of iets dergelijks?
ReplyDeleteDank je wel voor het linken!
Barbara
Nee, ik heb verder niets met de takken gedaan. Gewoon afgezaagd op een dikte waarop ze stevig genoeg zijn om de dekens te dragen en samengebonden met gekleurd katoen.
DeleteAdorable! I love how you have the blankets displayed! Thanks for linking up over at Adventures in Pinterest!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wendy!
