Knitted Blanket

Just to do something else than crochet, I knitted this blanket:

Fits nicely in with my other blankets (one of them still isn't finished, as the observant reader of this blog already saw, of course).

The Ladder is made (by me) from elderberry branches, especially for the blankets, so I can hang them up as a sort of decoration during summer. In the winter they lay around on the couch, to creep under when it's cold.

    3. If you need it very quickly , you could combine ready made pieces [scraps] from old clothes with crochet and have a warm and original blanket

  8. Pretty colors of yarn in the blanket. Are the squares knitted separately and then sewn together?

    1. Nee, ik heb verder niets met de takken gedaan. Gewoon afgezaagd op een dikte waarop ze stevig genoeg zijn om de dekens te dragen en samengebonden met gekleurd katoen.
