Crochet Chain Link

 Stash Buster 7

When I saw this necklace I wanted to make it right away. I really, really love the simple form and the large links. I don't wear jewelry very often because of my job (OR nurse), but I can see myself wearing this when I'm on vacation, wearing it with a V neck of some kind.

You don't need very much yarn for this project, so I can't say my stash is almost gone now, but all bits help.

  1. Very cute! I used to crochet but I never did anything like this. Mostly just dishcloths and scrubbies. I think this would look really nice with a low cut black shirt.

  4. I just started learning to crochet. So far I've only made misshaped squares. :-) But once I get the hang of the stitches and getting them more even, I would definitely try this. I found your blog on the Blogger's Pit Stop.

    1. Took me years before I could crochet like this, so keep practicing! In the end it's becoming more and more easy and even designing your own projects isn't difficult anymore then. Thanks for your nice comment!

  6. That's brilliant. WAY back in the 80's I had a chunky blue plastic chain necklace that I loved and thought was just the coolest thing ever - I was a teenager throughout the 80's. This is similar but has such lovely texture that my 80's necklace just didn't have!
