This week my daughters had what they call Fall Vacation here in The Netherlands. Years ago my husband and I went to Berlin, Germany, with two friends, and we thought it would be nice to go back there for a couple of days, because it's a great city with good vibes. Here are some highlights Brandenburger Tor Approaching from the west Eastside, at the start of Unter den Linden The quadriga on the Brandenburger Tor (quadriga being Latin for a four horse chariot) Neues Museum My nine year old daughter is bit into Ancient Egypt, so we had to visit the Neues Museum, of course. Unfortunately it wasn't allowed to takes pictures of their most beautiful piece: the bust of Nefertiti. Nonetheless: it was great! Really something I would recommend to anyone who's visiting Berlin.
