Deer Charcuterie Board

The first Christmas piece that I made this year is this charcuterie board (that I, as a vegetarian, will use for cheese), that I decorated by using a pyrographic pen to draw a deer.

First I chose I searched for a nice deer pattern on the internet, than I used carbon paper to copy the drawing to a piece of wood and than I burned the drawing into the wood with the heated pen.

I still have to experiment and practice a bit with pressure, tool tip and type of wood and such, but I'm not unhappy with the result.
