Birthday Rosettes
Wow, I’ve been
featured again!! This time at Make it Monday by Brassy Apple. My African Flower Tutorial was the most viewed project this
week! Thanks, Megan!
I made these Q-day rosette decorations for my little
daughters. The whole country will be turned in the red, white and blue of the
national flag. The orange stands for 'Van Oranje', the family name of the royal family (which means, good guess, orange). That’s why I chose this colors, but
of course every color, for every kind of birthday, will do.
That's so cute - I could totally imagine that as some kind of prize for games at a kids' birthday party, too!
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew how to crochet. My mother is an expert. You have made some very cute things!
ReplyDeleteMaybe your mother can teach you? It's not that difficult. Good luck! Liz

ReplyDeleteYes, it was! And the weather was perfect (not totally unimportant for an outdoor celebration :-))!!
DeleteCute idea! Thanks for entering One Crafty Contest; good luck!
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that you linked two projects to the craft contest and we're only accepting one entry per applicant. Please let me know which of the two you'd like to keep and which you want to delete. Thank you. You can contact me at dancers4life{at}gmail{dot}com.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, Amy; just didn't read the rules very well. I just deleted one of the projects. Liz

These ribbons are so cute. My grandmother is originally from the Netherlands and she took me there to visit one time. I hope I get to go back someday. Thanks for sharing at Showcase Your Talent Thursday. I hope to see you at the next party.
