Knitting again!
It’s becoming really chilly around here (The
Netherlands, that is), so I picked up an old favorite: knitting! I’m not the
one for very large knitting projects, or any large project, so I stick with
knitting for my little daughters. I knitted this sweater; with very
thick yarn and 10 mm needles (size 15 in US).
The turtle neck I made with something I never used, or ever saw before: a Quick Knit. It's like spool knitting with a very large spool. Very easy!
To break the petrol blue color
block of the sweater a little I made a Elmer the Patchwork Elephant Pin. After making two paintings last week, I got the taste for it. With all his colors Elmer is such
a nice creature to paint!

Thanks, Kathie!
Hi Liz, the sweater you knit is lovely! I'm sure it will be one of your daughter's favorites. Your post has put me in the mood to pick up my needles and finish a sweater I started for my husband. And the pin is so cute! I'm glad you shared over at Savvy Southern Style.

Hi Isobel!
DeleteThank you so much for nominating me for The Liebster Blog Award! I feel very honored by it, of course! But..., I thought about this for a while and feel I have to say 'Thanks, but no thanks'. I think all of us try to make a nice blog to read or to follow for others, so we all deserve an award. I honostly wouldn't know who to give the award. Not that I don't appreciate the fact that you think my blog is nice enough for an award, of course, 'cause I really do!!
Good X-mas for you, too, and a Happy New Year!! And thanks again!
Hugs!
Liz
