Festes de Sant Joan
A couple of days ago I came back from my trip to Menorca. It wasn't a very long stay this time, because I was visiting one of my best friends and we all know that if you want to stay best friends, you must not stay too long. We went on a canoe trip from Cala Galdana to Cala Mitjana en visited some caves along the way. It was also the week of the Festes de Sant Joan (celebrations of Saint John), which in Menorca, the town of Ciutadella to be specific, has to do a lot with horses. The most beautiful horses in the world you can find on the island of Menorca; slim and totally black. Pura raza Menorquina, they're called. I'm not a particularly big fan of horses, but this breed is fabulous. The horses main feature is that they can walk on their hind legs (not all the time, of course, but a couple of steps).
