Tapestry Crochet

A while ago I discovered a new way of crochet (new for me, at least) and after a bit of trial and error I got the drill. To be not discouraged immediately I started with potholders. I never used potholders in my whole life, but since I made my first pair a couple of months ago, I'm asking myself how I ever could do without them all those years.

So, here's my first Tapestry Crochet Project...

The Cottage Market featured my Cross Stitching this week!

Last week they featured my trip to The Ardennes

Thanks, Andrea!

  1. Love the pot holders, I have been thinking about tapestry crochetr, you have inspired me to give it a go. Thanks for your visit.

  2. I <3 your checks and your pretty pot holders! They would look awesome in my kitchen:)

  3. Super cute holders! Lovely pattern!
    Have a fabulous week!

  4. Your pot holders are lovely. I always admire people trying out different crochet patterns.

  5. Potholders are one of my favorite things to crochet! :) I love the pattern that you did on yours!

  6. I love potholders/dishcloths to experiment with new stitches and styles for making things. Realistically it has to be pretty bad for me not to use a dishcloth. So when I make it I know I'll use it.

Yours however, are beautiful. No worries there.

  7. These are lovely, i've never tried tapestry crocheting but I love the effect, thanks for linking. :)

  8. Tapestry crochet is on my list of things to learn. You may have just bumped it up a bit. Thanks for linking up at Inspire Us Thursdays!

  9. Thank you for sharing this post at City of Creative Dream's City of Links on Friday! I appreciate you taking the time to party with me. Hope to see you again today :)
