Ibiza Style: Barefoot Sandals

After making a Bikini Top for my Ibiza Style loving friend, with matching Ibiza Style Bracelets I had to make the ultimate Boho item: Barefoot Sandals. I used some beads to embellish the sandals. I had never crocheted with beads but after some thinking and some practicing I knew how to do it.

    I've never tried to crochet with beads. I've made these type sandals before though. Wonder if I could do it?

Lunch Bag made of Soft Jaguar Pluche

Today was a very good day as regards the mail! My mailbox contained: 1 . In the first place: a postcard from a good friend. And since most people send messages by e-mail, I like it when I get some real post! 2.      Fabrics!   Because you know how it is: now that I have to work on party stuff for the upcoming birthday, the only things I feel like making are things that are not really necessary at the moment and don’t have anything to do with party things at all. So I ordered some fabrics. And so I made the bag today that’s already waiting for months to be made and wouldn’t have mind if it had to wait another month to be made.  It's made of jaguar pluche and pink cotton  and is lined with dotted cotton.  It has a cover inside made of the same dotted cotton. The Twirl Factor

Month after month I was addicted to crochet, but this week I rediscovered sewing. The craving for sewing comes when I find a beautiful fabric that I must have or when I see a really nice pattern. This week I saw both, so I started sewing two different dresses. The first one I show you now, the second one is minutes from being finished and will be shown later this week. I used about 3x1½ meters of fabrics for this double dress (will be worn by a two year old), which has a major twirl factor. I love the combination of colors of this fabric: pink, fuchsia, red, orange, lime, aqua and black.
