Polka Dot Dress

In a post from a couple of weeks ago (here) I told you I wanted to try to make some clothes for myself (cigarette pants, two dresses, a top and a  pencil skirt). The top and the pencil skirt I finished last week, and now I have made one of the dresses, too. Here’s a picture of it. My favorite color is red and I love to combine it with black or marine, like I did in this dress.

The dress is made of polka dot jersey. The red fabric is interlock. I attached it a little loose, so that it looks draped. To complete the dress I applied a red rose.

  1. You can't beat red with a dark polka dot!!! The contrast around the neckline and sleeves works well.

    1. Thanks, Jenni! A cigarette pants is just tight pants with straight legs (like cigarettes). And I'm very curious what it will look like when it's finished myself, because I never made pants before, haha!
