Frida Sugar Skull

You may know by now that I just love Sugar Skulls.  In the past I made skulls in all forms and of all materials. This time I made one of polymer clay. And because I both like sugar skulls and Frida Kahlo, I made a Frida Sugar Skull.

The three below are just the ones I showed on my blog before.

Like the felt one I embroidered on a shirt for one of my daughters

And the felt key ring

  6. Did you make the roses too? The skull is really pretty.

    1. Thanks, Pam! No, the roses are cabochons that I bought 'ready to use' in a craft store, but I guess you can buy rose molds somewhere and make roses yourself.

  7. I absolutely love sugar skulls myself! There's something about creating them as no two are ever truly alike. Nice work!

  10. I love this so much! I love sugar skulls too. I have a beautiful framed postcard with one in my bedroom. I recently saw an awesome pendant that was a sugar skull dog's head! I came here from Sweet and Simple Fridays and I'm a new follower. :)
