Spiral Pillow


Although I was planning to make some decoration for the upcoming birthday party or to make the clothes I started with before I went on vacation, this blog crossed my path and after that I had to crochet something with a spiral first. And if something really must be done but can't be too time consuming, the first thing I think about is a pillow. So I made a pillow J !



And doesn't it match quite well with this other pillow I made once?

    Love the spiral - of course it had to be a pillow - you just didn't know that when you started - it had to be born. It turned out fantastic.

    Just hopping over from What's Cooking love to check out a fellow crocheter (is that a word?) Lol. I love this spiral design, I am not very good following patterns, mainly I just wing it making Barbie clothes for my Granddaughters:) But I kinda like this challenge of the spiral, maybe I could make it smaller for a Barbie??? Christmas Scrunchies (free pattern)

 Of all the things I made this year, Crocheted Scrunchie s were the biggest hit. My daughter wears them all the time, in her hair and/or on her arm, so I thought Christmas Scrunchies would be nice, too.  I'm happy to say my duaghter thinks this Christmas variety 'is just as great as the regular, no mom, even better'!  My daughter is thirteen now, so I'm wondering if it will last very much longer, that enthusiasm over mom made things, but I hope it does, because I really enjoy making things for my daughters.   How I made them: Round 1: 40 dc around a regular hair elastic, close with a slip stitch in the first sc (40) Change color Round 2: chain 2 (counts as the first dc), 2 dc in the same stitch, 3 dc in every sc of the previous round, close with a slip stitch in the chain stitch (120) Change color Round 3: chain 2 (counts as the first dc), 1 dc in the same stitch, 2 dc in every dc of the previous round,close with a slip stitch in the chain stitch (240) Chang...

~ I love Pinterest and would like to make one thing every week that I find on Pinterest. Since I have lots of pins (that, until now, I've just pinned and only that), I hope this will be a way to reduce the amount of pins on my boards . It can be anything, from cooking to crochet and from sewing to paper crafts. Just small projects that don't take weeks to make ~  Last week I told you about the Haasje look-a-like mug cozy I planned to make for Easter. Haasje, our Flemish Giant is my youngest daughter's bunny, so of course she wanted the mug cozy.
