Favorite pattern revisited, again
I brought out my all time favorite pattern again to make a summer dress for my youngest daughter. This time I chose a turqoise fabric with butterflies and birds on it and red for the circle skirt underneath. Red and turqoise is my favorite color combo's.
I used this pattern many times before, as you can see here

All very different designs, but all with the same basic pattern...
Love all these styles! It's great when you find a pattern you really like and can remake it over and over!

I love these twirly dresses. I have been making them for my 4 grandaughters for the last couple of years. But they grow out of them so fast. So when the bodice part gets too tight, I cut the skirt part off, sew a casing and insert elastic for a twirly skirt. I finally decided that from now on, I'll just make skirts and they love them.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kay!
DeleteJust gorgeous. I wish I could sew, I would love to make something this gorgeous.
