Pencil Skirt in Tartan

Why not make another Pencil Skirt, I thought, when I saw this great tartan fabric! So here it is!

Again it's a skirt from Gertie's book. I used the same pattern as I did before, actually. I know, it's about time I make something else from the book, but I love the Pencil Skirt, you can never have enough Pencil Skirts and they're just so easy to make. Promise, next pattern from the book will be something else. There's another book by Gertie on the way and before that one is released, I want to have finished all the patterns in the first book. So, busy times ahead!

  3. I am nuts about tartan plaids this year!!! I won't be making a skirt, but thanks for sharing yours. I'll be making pillows and table covers and anything else I can think of. Glad to see I'm not the only tartan lover in blogland. :-)

  4. Your pencil skirt is very pretty. I have been contemplating making one of those out of fabric almost identical to your tartan fabric. I may go ahead and do it after seeing yours! I love it.
