Caged Butterflies

A couple of invitations for the upcoming birthday party:

~*~

And I made something funny for my bathroom, that I saw in Oslo, Norway a couple of years ago and wanted to imitate ever since:

Of course the butterflies ain't real; I would never cage something as beautiful as a fluttering butterfly.

    1. No, didn't take very much time. I practiced a couple of times to draw the black lines and now can draw them kind of fast on the cards. After that I color them with aquarelle paint. I think about fifteen minutes per card :-) . Thanks for your nice compliments!
