Vanished Golden Hearts

Do you remember the Golden Heart-shirts I made recently? With textile paint I made golden hearts on the elbows of the shirt. It looked like this. 



It seemed like a great idea, but after washing the shirts one time (one time!) the hearts looked like this:


Not exactly what I expected. 

But my girls love the golden hearts, so I had to think of something else. 
I bought some iron-on in gold, cut four hearts, ironed them on the elbows and now the shirts look like this:



 Almost the same. Hope they don't see any difference.

Haven't wash them yet, so: to be continued...

Oh, and if you have any tips on how to let textile paint stay put to the textile, drop them here, please!

  In the last months I saw him on social media regularly: the Plague Doctor, often accompanied by the words 'Wash Your Hands'. Christmas Scrunchies (free pattern)

 Of all the things I made this year, Crocheted Scrunchie s were the biggest hit. ~ I love Pinterest and would like to make one thing every week that I find on Pinterest. Since I have lots of pins (that, until now, I've just pinned and only that), I hope this will be a way to reduce the amount of pins on my boards . It can be anything, from cooking to crochet and from sewing to paper crafts. Just small projects that don't take weeks to make ~  Last week I told you about the Haasje look-a-like mug cozy I planned to make for Easter. Haasje, our Flemish Giant is my youngest daughter's bunny, so of course she wanted the mug cozy.
