More Halloween Projects



After a time consuming project such as the cross stitch Sugar Skull from last week now a fast one: a drawing of a cute evil pumpkin.

And because we are renovating again, I had to clear out a closet and found the Hama Beads. I couldn't withstand temptation and had to make something for Halloween. I found some simple patterns and hoopla, a ghost and a pumpkin!


In the same closet I found something I made a couple of years ago for Halloween,  before I started blogging. Don't know why I kept it, but since I still like it, it's hanging from the kitchen wall.


As I remember it right, I found this owl at Martha Stewart.

  In the last months I saw him on social media regularly: the Plague Doctor, often accompanied by the words 'Wash Your Hands'. I doubt that plague doctors ever said that, because in their time running water wasn't available for everyone. Lunch Bag made of Soft Jaguar Pluche

Today was a very good day as regards the mail! My mailbox contained: 1 . In the first place: a postcard from a good friend. And since most people send messages by e-mail, I like it when I get some real post! 2.      Fabrics!   Because you know how it is: now that I have to work on party stuff for the upcoming birthday, the only things I feel like making are things that are not really necessary at the moment and don’t have anything to do with party things at all. So I ordered some fabrics. And so I made the bag today that’s already waiting for months to be made and wouldn’t have mind if it had to wait another month to be made.  It's made of jaguar pluche and pink cotton  and is lined with dotted cotton.  It has a cover inside made of the same dotted cotton. The Twirl Factor

Month after month I was addicted to crochet, but this week I rediscovered sewing. The craving for sewing comes when I find a beautiful fabric that I must have or when I see a really nice pattern. This week I saw both, so I started sewing two different dresses. The first one I show you now, the second one is minutes from being finished and will be shown later this week. I used about 3x1½ meters of fabrics for this double dress (will be worn by a two year old), which has a major twirl factor. I love the combination of colors of this fabric: pink, fuchsia, red, orange, lime, aqua and black.
