Side Table

Since we are busy renovating our house (which takes lots of time because my husband wants to do everything by himself and he only has the weekends to work on it), we have to rearrange furniture from time to time. Instead of a large corner couch we now have two separate couches along two walls. I don't want empty corners that are just gathering dust (as is the case in empty corners in my house, ahum), so from an old bar stool frame and a table top that my husband sawed for me, I made a small side table to fill the space.

In the back you see one of the finished book shelves. My husband made a room en suite: on both sides of two sliding paneled doors with leaded glass we have two book shelves from floor to ceiling. The room en suite will become my craft space. Yes!

  1. Here from the link up! I love that you thought of cutting the legs of the stool! I too don't like having empty corners so we have something (to dust weekly) at every corner of our house. LOL

  3. I love those bookcases! You've got to highlight those!

I also love that you're moving things around to make it more cozy and livable while it's a little chaotic. I never do that. I just live among the chaos and lament about it. I'll have to try making the most of it next time.

Thanks for linking up with Oh My Heartsie Girls this week. I hope we see you again on Wednesday :)

    1. The table was placed before the bookcases just before the picture, to have a nice background. Normally the cases are in sight, because I think books and bookcases are the best decoration in a house.
