Wood Burned Plant Labels

One of my wishes for our new house was to start a kitchen garden. One part of the house has a flat roof, so since a couple of weeks I'm busy to set up my little garden there. Far out of reach for snails.

This year is the experimenting phase, with vegetables and flowers in pots, pans and buckets, but when all goes well I will ask my husband to make two large elevated garden beds on the roof for more serious vegetable growing business.

At the moment I'm growing seeds behind the living room window and planting them over in bigger pots once they're large enough.

To see what's planted in each little pot I made plant labels. Last week I showed you the charcuterie board that I decorated with my new pyrography pen; this week I used it to do some wood burning on food skewers to make plant labels for my vegetable garden.
