Lavender

Today the whole day was wearing a lavender touch. 

First, I made new Lavender Scrub.


Second, I bought lavender blue hyacinths.


Third, I crocheted lavender blue pot holders. 


Fourth, I got this lovely hook from a friend. Perfect for the potholders.

      I just searched for 'crochet waffle pattern' on Google and then decided on how many rows. Didn't really use a pattern.

  In the last months I saw him on social media regularly: the Plague Doctor, often accompanied by the words 'Wash Your Hands'. I doubt that plague doctors ever said that, because in their time running water wasn't available for everyone. Crochet Fly Curtain

Last week I saw this nice book, called Haken & Kleur (meaning Crochet & Color in Dutch; here's the blog of one of the authors with a link to where you can buy the book), full of crochet patterns. I bought it and after just a little bit of paging my choice fell on the Fly Curtain. I só need a fly curtain. When I do not close my door my house is invaded by flies, mosquitoes, bees and wasps.  I started to crochet, but when the weather got better and better the amount of bugs in my house increased faster and faster, so I had to speed up my crocheting. Little Plane

In the first post of this new year I want to start of course by saying  H a p p y N e w Y e a r ! ! to all of you!! Let it be a great one, with lots of love and good health! ~*~ Last week my little nephew was finally born, so now I can show you the stuff I made for him. Like this little plane I crocheted, to name one. In a couple of week there will be a gathering to celebrate his birth and then I will gave the presents to his parents, but of course I already saw him the day after he was born.
