Heartbeat
We are renovating again; the bedrooms this time. While I was tidying up and throwing stuff away, I found the french knittting spool of my daughter and thought some time about what I could make with that. Honestly, I could think of nothing, until I found one left over card from a set of postcards with colored wire I made a couple of months ago and than it popped into my mind: an ECG of course! How could I not think of this earlier; as an OR nurse I see this almost on a daily basis!
Here's the result:
And to show you it's really french knitting, here's a close up:

When my daughters still had their summer holidays, I had to think about 'what to do' on a daily basis. One of the blogs I follow is the blog from Alisa Burke and one day she posted a really nice coloring page (free download here). Just when I needed it! So we took out our pencils and markers and colored away, the three of us! I just love Alisa's drawings. You can buy loose pages or whole coloring books in her webshop.
