Unicorn Hooded Scarf
We're in november already and in just a couple of weeks Sinterklaas (also called Saint Nicholas) will arrive here in The Netherlands. Three weeks after his arrival we will celebrate his birthday, the occasion where children will get lots of presents from the old man (bought by us, the parents, of course).
In preparation of this happy day I started this week by making some home made presents for my daughters. My youngest daughter, who is seven years old, always is 'into something' and currently it's (you would never guess this) unicorns!!
Last week I showed you a pullover that I made for her, from a pattern by The Velvet Acorn, and in the same Etsy store I found a great, original pattern for a Unicorn Hat, that's also a shawl.
You can find this pattern here.

Wow. How creative and practical too, a Unicorn Hooded Scarf (and I pinned it). Neighbor at the nifty thrifty sunday #307 party. Please drop by to see my post. It's "Use Indigo and the Third Eye Chakra to Increase Intuition." Nancy Andres @ www.colors4health.com
ReplyDeletesuper cute! unicorns are such a fun "animal," where was this stuff when I was a kid? lol
ReplyDeleteOh that's such a clever idea - I hope she likes it!
ReplyDeleteNice and funny idea!
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet, what a great gift.
ReplyDeleteLove the shawl/hat! That's just adorable! I can see why she'd like that! In fact, I think I'd like to have one too.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I would love to make this for my granddaughter, but I haven't knitted for 40+ years. I crochet now; I wonder if the pattern could be converted? Thank you so much for sharing at Party in Your PJ's. I pinned!
ReplyDeleteAt the Etsy Store where I purchased the pattern, for this pattern there's a crochet and knit version. You can find it here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/473117906/crochet-pattern-the-ulyne-unicorn-hooded?ref=shop_home_active_59
