Victoria the Swan

Time for baby presents, apparently. Three of my colleagues are expecting and one just delivered a little girl, so there's work to be done. I finished the first present this week, a little swan that I made before for another colleague, but which still is one of my favorite things to make for a baby girl.

The white yarn I had to buy new,  because what I had left was way to little to make this swam, but for beak, legs and crown I could use a bit of my stash.

  2. It's so beautiful, what a lovely gift for any little one.

  3. Victoria is absolutely gorgeous! I am sure she was very much appreciated and will be treasured.

  4. Super cute swan. Thanks for sharing your work with us. #alittlebitofeverything

  5. What a lovely present for a baby girl. It took me years to realize why swans were my "totem" animal. I considered myself an ugly duckling as a child. Today, I have a lovely collection of small ceramic and glass swans.

  6. What a gorgeous swan, and what a thoughtful present! I have noticed a lot of people are having babies around here too. Thank you for being a part of the Hearth and Soul Link Party Community, Liz!

  7. What an adorable creation ! Victoria looks so graceful with her crown. Thank you for sharing with us at Meraki Link Party.

  10. Hi Liz! I think I saw your comment come through but I just haven't got around to answering... :) I'm glad you enjoyed your sweet swan being featured at last week's Share Your Style #294. Hope all is well out your way!! Got my first Covid shot today; all is good. :)

Hope to see you later on for SYS this evening,
    Barb :)
